We are home. If he runs a temp of 100.4 I have to take him to ER. If his ANC is over 500 he can just get IV antibiotics, any lower than 500 and he gets admitted until he is fever free and ANC climbs. We are waiting for the chromosomal study on the biopsy which can show pre-leukemia activity and the anit-neutrophil antibody test results to come in. He has an appt. with hem/onc next Thursday and everything should be in by then.

  2. Yay for being at home!! I am glad you brought up the chomosomal information because they did that with Ella and I was going to ask you if they mentioned it as no one else has ever heard of them doing it. Ella's did show a trisomy at chromosome 8 which I guess is a "cancer" gene. I never really understood it but they seemed to know that she would more than likely convert at some point. Praying for good results. Email me if you have any other questions.

  4. Well glad to hear that you are home. I am just catching up as I have not been on in a while. Glad to hear that you got some answers, however it does sound a tad frustrating. I must say that I love the 2nd picture of Tomas in the hospital. Even in the midst of all this and a gorgeous picture. Hoping for really good news.
